Spinlock December 1/12/2011

Spinlock launched a number of new products at METS in Amsterdam this year including a new lite lifejacket and new lifejacket light.

The lite lifejacket is almost of 40% lighter there successful inflatable lifejackets and harnesses as well as 40% cheaper retailing for around £120 each. The jacket is great for tenders on superyachts as well as sailing in general due to its comfortable feel, great quality and light weight and compact design.

Spinlock have a great way of taking a product we have all used for years and simply making it better where we all then sit back and say “that’s so simple, why didn't I think of that." The new life jacket again is another product they have improved in a simple way. The light normal sits on the front of lifejacket on the shoulder blasting out light ruining the night vision of the wearer. The light is also very close to the water making it difficult for the rescue boats to see the light unless they are directly in front of the victim. The new spinlock light sits above the of the head of the wearer, producing a 360degree all round light which also be see for further away especially in rough weather.

These and other great products can be seen in this month’s E-Newsletter from Spinlock which you can download here
