MarineDex is the first marine directory to combine a contact networking system tailored to suit the needs of all members of the marine and superyacht industry. The system gives users and business a number of powerful tools to organise and share their contacts and experience with other professionals in the industry.

The first of these tools allows users to rate business and leave comments about the service those businesses provided yachts in the industry. Both the star ratings and user feedback system allows members of the industry and the MarineDex support staff to control content in the system to ensure a level of service required by others in the industry. The system allows users to also save contacts to their address book or favourites so to quickly find them next time they visit that area or need that service. Since the data is being update by businesses and monitored by all members of the system; users no longer need to spend hours, storing, updating and searching through their personal contact databases.

The second is our referral system this allows users and members of the industry to upload their contacts onto the MarineDex site allowing the system to grow, benefiting not only themselves since content is being kept up to date but also the industry allowing other members of the industry to find services and products in that area next time they visit. Users can also earn commissions on money spent by the businesses that they refer to MarineDex.
