The first aim of MarineDex was to orgainse marine business contacts in a new twenty-second centurary format with all the digital tools available.

Orginal members of the MarineDex found manually; organising, storing and updating contacts to be time consuming and daughting, so we set out to create and online automated system. Once the orginal marinedex system was build to give businesses the ability to register and edit detail we set out to give user the ability upload their contacts through an online referral system. This not only allow them to share their experiences with other yachting professional but also to earn commission on money spent by those businesses they refer.

Users simply create an account and select Referrals in the dashboard, Refer a Company and fill out the simple form which includes

• Business Name
• Address
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Languages Spoken
  
• Category ( which dictates to users what the business does )

An email is then sent out to the business letting them know that they are now apart of the growing MarineDex system and inviting them to come back and

• Edit their details
• Upgrade their package from a Free to a paid listing
• Remove their company if the don't wish to be apart

Users can continue editing these details until the business logins to their account or deletes it from the database.
