MarineDex is a reference point for information and contacts in the marine and superyacht industry. The website hosts a number of powerful tools designed to bring businesses and crews closer together.
We offer visitors of the website a simple navigation interface to search by geographical location, category and company name to find what they require quickly using a number of unique MarineDex search tools. The directory has a database of more than 5000 marine related businesses from 600 cities worldwide. MarineDex members have a number of additional features and tools to save, rate and recommend businesses to the directory. Users can refine all search result by:
• Languages spoken
• Star rating (dictated by users)
• Business sector
Each results page hosts our unique "Tool Box" providing users with in depth information on each of the search categories. The Tool Box also provides a list of similar categories on the site where products and services may also be found. From the results page users can choose to read more information on the businesses and their service or return to the homepage any time by selecting the green "return to map" button on every page or by selecting the MarineDex logo.
The lead service is a system that allows members of MarineDex to post group messages to the businesses in the system with requests for services and equipment. Businesses then receive this message and can the choice to contact the author of the lead to tender for the work. This simple system allows users to gather multiple offers for projects without spending hours searching and emailing each individual business. It also assists businesses in finding new business contacts or find new areas to expand their business into, areas they hadn't previously consider.

The MarineDex Superyacht Guide is a combination of articles for crew and businesses in the superyacht industry. The system is an information portal for members to find useful information about the different aspects of the industry. Similar to the News and Press section visitors can navigate through the different sections and pages at their own leisure.
